Who (the heck) is mediatechnologies?

We’re a family operated company located up North, in Shelby, Michigan and we’ve been producing robust, high-quality library and educational furniture for a long time...well...let's just say longer than 20 years.

Our years of experience and expertise give us unique insight into the specific requirements of library and educational furnishings. But the trait that really makes us unique in the world of furniture is that we specialize in transforming the ideas of the end user, dealer and architect into products of high design and integrity at a price that is affordable. We are unmatched in the development of custom solutions for our customers. How do we accomplish this?

From classroom to commons, office to boardroom, and every space in-between, we offer a broad range of quality furniture possibilities for all of your spaces. While we love selling furniture out of the catalog, we know that catalogs really spark ideas in the minds of our customers. That is where the magic happens.

anyspace Collection

Our anyspace Collection is a broad palette of furniture that can be used to create your ideal commons, café, cafeteria, classroom, makerspace, admin or “any” spaces. Choose from a broad range of seating, tables, conference tables, desks, technology carts, podiums and storage possibilities. The pieces from this collection of furniture are appropriate for any space - so it's not just another clever name!

Within our anyspace channel we currently offer focus brochures for the commons and the café/cafeteria spaces. Look for more focus brochures to be come available in the future.

The mediaspace Approach

Our mediaspace approach to the evolving library space is both thorough and helpful. We have three powerful tools to help you make sense of it all and take your space from imagination to installation. They are…

• mediaspace Catalog. Our IDEAS section is a gallery of images intended to give you a visual taste of overall possibilities for your space. The ZONES section is an “idea book” organized by different functional areas (that we call zones) within the media space. The final section is the actual CATALOG of mediaspace products to select from to transform your mediaspace zone ideas into reality.

• mediaspace Sales Binder tool is an outline of the zone-design process illustrated through examples of various sized projects. See each project in 2D Plan view and 3D view accompanied by representative product grouping images and a zone-by-zone product breakdowns. It is a guide to beginning your own project board.

• mediaspace Planning Questionnaire. The questionnaire helps you think about and nail down some of the real details of your media space project

Workspace Collection

Workspace is the “umbrella” name we have given to the families of products that fit into our storage product segment. This goes way beyond cabinets and cupboards.

We have some pretty amazing product families that will change the way you think about the perimeter of your spaces. Look at our elements and transition track-mounted, flexible storage to get an idea of how flexible your walls can really be.

Yes, we also design and manufacture traditional casegoods storage too.

Our solutions extend WAY beyond mere products and expand into the realm of space planning and design. We offer 2D and 3D plan drawings and space and product renderings to help you visualize your project. From dream to design to delivery and installation, we can be with you every step of the way.

mediatechnologies has partnered with NCPA to help expedite purchasing options. We are also listed on a number of state contracts and bid co-ops.
